do'in it........do'in it..........Rust dyeing that is, so of course I just had to have a go and look what I have,
This was the bottom of an old baking tray. I am do excitied, can anyone else see the dragon, Ken can see a mouse wearing glasses(spectacles)!!!! I really want to do something special to this but will have to think about it for a while.
I have been touched by the responses to my last post both here and on Flickr, I am so touched to have awakended memories in others, I only wish I had started to research my past at a much younger age, when there were people around, like grandparents, who could have added the "flesh" to the names that came before them.

your rusty peiece is wonderful and I can see a mother and daughter, both in crinoline type dresses. the mpther wearing a very wide hat and the little girl a bonet. I love that we all see different things in them.
How I wish I had listened more to what my DM and DGM's said. I say to myself sometimes, my mother would have known who so and so was, but of course she's not there to tell me. I had one very interesting GM who loved telling us stories.
I see a Fiery Pheonix ... it must be the upcoming Harry Potter book and film on my brain haha! Looks great though and I look forward to seeing what you do eventually do with it.
Definitely a dragon Pat. Its a wonderful piece of rust dying.
Very, very cool - I can see the dragon and the mouse.
dragon caught my attention right off! I've been doin' it, too and need to get my results to show off.
Oh... I see an angel under a cloud with sun to the right beside a mountain to the bottom left over a horse riding knight in the sand.
I see the dragon. Head up on top, rearing back.....the bottom of his body obscured by a veil. *S*
What a beautiful piece. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
