Last week Ati's Little World  had pictures of shabby chic roses ,she gave a link to Anni's blog and Anni she gave a link to the tutorial by Roben-Marie. So here are the roses I've made.

Fun and quick to make, and really give a lift to an old cardigan. I love this sharing community.
I made a necklace as well

The black links are fishing swivels,

a tip given to me a by a lady whose necklace I admired.  I believe you can buy them in other finishes but my local  fishing tackle shop only had black,  The advantage is because they swivel the necklace hangs well.

Oh now Pat, that is naughty!!! My OH has recently had a sneaky peak in my glittery bits box to see what he could use for fishing. I can return the favour now!!

Your shabby chic roses are great Pat--I have started making mine.
I reckon they would look great on a tote bag as well.

I've seen using those fishing bits for jewellery before, and I think it's the cleverest idea! :D

You have a beautiful blog! I pressed "Next blog" from a friend's blog on a whim - something I've done only twice in the last four years, and it was worth it!
