Sochi.....
I'm your girl when it comes to an opening ceremony and I enjoyed the one for the Winter Olympics. I just loved the colour, I took these from the television so they are not sharp but a good reminder.
The colour is everywhere,, on all the venues and on the competitors and volunteers.

I think I like the quilt the best. A wonderful idea -- colourful, warm, a symbol of unity. :-)
Wow! That is an explosion of colour, I love all the different formats. I'm totally unsporty, but I did catch the women's snowboarding on Saturday, utterly brilliant, they are so brave and wonderful ambassadors for girl power.
